ARTIST RESEARCH NICHOLAS JANDORA
For my personal response I decided to focus on Jandora's use of super 8 film. To do this, I filmed a model dancing to experiment with. I then played around with the noise, saturation, tone and position of the video, as well as adding a super 8 and vhr filter over the top of the video. I wanted the video itself to move like a reel of film, therefore, I edited the film to move in a sequence as the video played. To do this, I layered the same video and changed the position at different key points of the video, so that they moved together.
