Through doing this map I started to identify and analyse the similarities between the moon and religion. One connection that I found really interesting was the link that both the moon and religion are used as a way of humans answering questions they have and also as an excuse for things they do. For example, people believe that the moon controlls our emotions and the world spiritually and also in ideas such as star signs determining a persons personality. Due to these, people tend to blame their actions on the position of the moon or because of their star signs traits instead of simply taking responsibility. In comparison people also use their religion for their actions and as an excuse for things, such as the KKK starting they were doing what they did due to faith.
