The Advertising of Kalopsia

To advertise Kalopsia we had many different ideas regarding the theme we were going to use.

We wanted to Crete a theme of being half real half not as even though the hologram I not real, the connection is.

Due to this, we looked into different methods of which we could use for how to present this idea, such as having a real person next to a person who is not real, though at first we were not sure how to present this.

Then, once we stated to experiment with colours we decided to play on the idea of representing the difference between the real human and the hologram though different colours and combining them together to show the connection.

We wanted to use real people for the advertising (regarding posters) as we wanted a realistic feel to the product to show that it can actually work.

For our final posters we decided on the colours red and blue to give a 'glitching' feel to the poster. We mixed them together to show how they are combined. as well as this, we layered the photos on top of each other and then layered the logo on top of the image.

Even though this was not our original idea, the final product came out really well and I am impressed with how it has come out. The use of multiplying the words to create a glitching theme as well as the colours work well.

Once we had created our identifiable poster, we started to think bout methods of presenting them to the public. We thought about where posters are advertised mostly in public. The brought billboards to our attention which we used for our final product.

Other methods that we thought of were instagram ads, Posters in train stations and on the side of busses, but after consideration we felt the the billboard was the best for what we were trying to represent and was beneficial as they can be presented in many different public places.

To do this, we photoshopped The poster into a billboard that already existed.
