Kalopsia Website

To go Alongside our product we needed to create a website where we could advertise Kalopsia.

When thinking of ideas for how to create this, we wanted to go for a minimal look so that the product is presented clearly and so that the website is clear and easy to navigate around.

When planning out our ideas for the website, we needed to incorporate the idea that the people using the product may not have the best mental state and therefore needed to be a easy, clean website that the customer can easily used so that they have no problems when trying to purchase Kalopsia, something that can help them.

Due to this, we decided to use the colours white and grey as a continuous backdrop so that when the product is placed on the website, it is easily recognisable and so that the user who is trying to make a purchase knows exactly where to look and where to go.

For our home page We made it that the first thing you see is a digital version of the product as well as a video of the product so that you are aware of what the product should look like from all angles. We placed this first as we felt that it was most important to see the product when you first enter the website.

We also added a 'Chat with us ' Icon in the bottom right corner so that the customers know they have reassurance that if they have an issue that we are easy to contact as a company making the product more appealing to people who may be worried of not being able to use the product properly.

As well as this, we added a section on the home page on how the product works so that he informations right there for anyone as soon as they go onto the website. We did this as we did not want anyone to be confused with what our product was settling any nerves a person may have as our product is aimed for people who are suffering with depression or loneliness etc.

We then also added features of the product on the home page so that people knew exactly what they should be expecting from the product. This is due to that I there are any issues with the product they can be easily identified and the customer can let us know so that they can get a replacement. we also added these features to promote them to the customer to make them want to buy the product more.

The next feature on the home page is a detailed diagram of the product so that the customer knows every part of the product that they are buying and how it should work.

This is useful as it means that when the customer buys the product they know exactly what to do and where each component is on he podium making it easier to use.

And then, finally, on the web page we have a real life example of somebody using the app. For this, we took a photo of a class member on his phone and then photoshopped the home screen of the app on the phone he was holding, to make it look like he is using the app. This technique was used to make the product feel more realistic as you can see a real person using it, giving a feeling to the customer that just like the person in the photo, they can also use the product.

The next section in the website is the sub page, 'Buy now', which is where the customer can purchase their own product. When clicking on the product, it makes you to a sub page which is stated 'quick look' where you can look closer at the product and also change the colours etc.

As well as this, you have the opportunity to purchase the product.

We decided that the idea of being able to pick different colours for the podium was right for our product so that the podium is more personalised for the customer. This is so the customer can get the most out of the product and feel as connected to it as they can as they have had the choice for how the product looks as well as their holographic person.

Finally, our final main feature on the website is the 'Support section'

Included in this section are commonly asked questions already answered so that any customers have an answer straight away so that they don't have to go through the struggles of messaging the company and waiting for a response, making the process much more easier, faster and professional.

To do this section, we asked people in our class questions they have about the project, and then we put them together and answered them. This was affective as we had a real- life idea of what people may be wondering about our product and then we were able to incorporate this into our website.
