When looking into Creating Kalopsia We needed to look into our competitors and competition. for this we looked at the message and visuals, the prices, the reviews and the marketing efforts for each of the competitors to make our product better and more user friendly.
Our first competitor and possibly the biggest competitor is Gatebox, A system created in Japan of a 'Holographic anime girlfriend' The price of gateaux is 150,000 Japanese Yen, the equivalent of around 1,000 pounds in English money. Even though the Gatebox is a strong competitor, what makes Kalopsia different and better than Gatebox is that Gatebox is not customisable or realistic or life-size, as Gatebox consists of a small anime girl who is inside a small box. Though, this development is very popular in Japan due to the Anime appeal and culture.
To counter against Gatebox to make Kalopsia better we have made Kalopsia Cheaper than Gatebox briefly, and also mad kalopsia more customisable and personal to the customer, making it possibly more appealing, with the option that if they potentially wanted their Person to be anime like gateaux, they have that option as they can create their character to be whatever they want.
Our second competitor is 'Invisible Girlfriend' which is a 'digital version of a real girlfriend' Invisable Girlfriend provides a flirting practice. Just like Kalopsia, you can chose her features and personality, although, Invisible Girlfriend is only a website, nothing more meaning that this may not be as affective. They also do not have an App, making Kalopsia better.
Kalopsia has been made to be better than 'Invisable Girlfriend' in many different ways. For example, Kalopsia has an app where as Invisable Girlfriend does not. As well as this, Kalopsia has a hologram where as Invisible Girlfriend is just a web page. And Invisible Girlfriend only appeals to Males, where as Kalopsia appeals to any audience and any age.
