Altered States - Album Cover Inspiration

For my album cover I would like to experiment with colour maps to create saturated images.

I am also inspired by the use of text presented in the album covers, as well as the use of the liquify tool.

Elements that I will take from these covers are the colour maps that they use. I will experiment with different colour maps and how they alter the photos. I am most inspired by the colours presented in the bottom left image and top far right image. I like the mixture of purples as I feel it gives the images a warm feeling. I will make sure to have the colours link with the ones I end up using in the video that I make.
